I regret getting the longer hose, did not need 50ft. Once the water is turned off I have to leave the nozzle open so the water can drain properly otherwise it can be harder to loop around the hose stand. I am worried about the section where the hose peeks out under the plastic lip (photo). I feel like that spots going to get worn faster than the rest of the hose. I’m very careful about any tension in that spot in case. Also, I store it away from direct sunlight based on many, many reviews regarding pin prick holes. So far so good.

Very lite, and I love the shutoff valve on the end, great for adjusting my sprinkler without going back to the main water valve!!

The quality is good, but it was a bit misleading in terms of the actual length of the hose. I bought the 25’ version and it’s only about 10’ long when not in use, and it’s supposed to expand up to 25’ but really it only expands about 20’ — and only while full pressure (ie water is in it but not flowing out) so while actually using it to fill a hot tub or something at full pressure, it might only be about 15’ which was 5’ too short for my needs. I do like how tangle free and the quality, so I bought the 50’ version which I expect will be around 20’ in dry length. One other note is that the diameter of the inner tube is much smaller than a typical hose, so less water volume (ie more similar to a pull out kitchen faucet vs traditional diameter faucet). Overall, I needed something that is easy to throw in a bucket under a sink, and this fits the bill.

There was something wrong with this item ..valve which was meant to open just didnt …thats why i sent it back.. Was very upset that i didnt get my full postage refunded.. I had to pay over £33.00 To send it back and you only refunded £20.00.. As a pensiner to lose £13 postage when i was told i would get full refund was very disappointing

So far it works well. When you turn the water on it expands and then you turn the water off and release the pressure in the hose it retracts. Now we no longer trip over the garden hose because members of my family found it too much trouble to wind up the old hose when they were finished with it.

締結部の構造が、日本の水道の蛇口に対応していない。
そこまでは想定内であったので、締結部付近のホースを切断して、締結バンド等で固定して使えばよいかと考えて購入してみた。しかし、ホース自体の径が日本のそれよりもかなり小さかった。このため、そのような使い方も断念せざるを得なかった。
ちなみに、全長25フィートと書かれているが、初期の通常状態ではその半分の長さもなさそうである。ぐいぐい引っ張って使うとそこまで伸びるという代物らしく、その場合は断面積はさらに小さくなる。
継手は真鍮製ではなく安っぽいプラスチック製だし、ホースの色は黒ではなくて青。
米国で使用するには良い品なのかもしれないが、日本においては工作用などの用途に限られる。なぜ輸入販売しているのかが全く謎なレベル。
安物買いの銭失いになるので、素直に国産品を買うべきであった。
