I bought this because it was said to be quiet. It is definitely not quiet and it constantly turns to eco mode without changing the mode. It’s definitely not cold, I’m thinking I received a lemon. We need to return it but just had surgery and unable to lift it. Very disappointed,

This air conditioner is very quiet, and doesn’t blow a cold draft on you. It wasn’t easier to install than other units I have installed. The extension panels seem sturdier than most, but the holes to attach it to my window sill did not reach, so the extension panels are not very secure. The extension panel covers are nice, but didn’t install easily.

Don’t do it. Windmill doesn’t actually honor their warranty. Check their BBB rating, it’s an F and they don’t care.
The unit worked great for 4 months, but now it’s not working, and support refuses to acknowledge that there is an issue.
This unit is pumping moisture into my room. The humidity went from 43% up to 88% in one hour, and it is also not effectively cooling, or is cooling very slowly at least. I did all their troubleshooting (30 emails back and forth), and their final decision is that my issue is not the unit, but that it was too humid outside for the unit to cool effectively bc it happened to be raining the day I emailed them. Note that it was not raining when I took the reading that they requested, just when I emailed them my location details. They will not acknowledge the issue, and have completely stopped responding to me after sending the email included in my photo.
My review photos were taken at 86⁰ outside with 0 precipitation and low dew point. The unit is properly sized for the room and installed correctly.
Honestly, it was great while it worked but do you want to risk your money knowing that you might get a faulty unit with no warranty support? If they would just fix the unit I would have a completely different perspective.

I bought this unit this week and couldn’t be happier. As an older, single woman sometimes I can be skeptical when something proclaims to be easy to install. Honestly, it was even easier than 1-2-3! I did have my neighbor come over to help me lift it into the window (which took about 10 minutes) and I had the rest done and the house cooling down within another 15-20 minutes. I’m thrilled so far (it’s only been a few hours) but am completely satisfied and would highly recommend this product! As you can see, it even looks great! It’s so sleek and stylish and so unlike the huge clunky window A/C units of old.
