– the item isn’t too heavy about average weight of a portable ac
– having wifi is a big plus because now with the app I can turn it on and cool the room when I know I’ll be heading home soon
– all in one feature, it has AC, Fan, and dehumidifier modes but no heat (not that I need that option)
– the timer function is a bit tricky to figure out but once you learn it , it’s a great tool
– the app was easy to use and easy to connect to wifi
– love the design from the handle slots, to the slot to plug in the AC plug so it’s not just hanging off the side of the AC
Sugar Rush –
The air conditioner works great. The strugglebus begins with venting. Hopefully this review helps you avoid disappointment once you bring it home. It ships with the vent window guard in multiple size configurations which is great. My window slides left to right and is 36″ tall so it was not an issue configuring it to fit. My window is also about 30″ from the floor and is located behind the workbench. The workbench has a backplate and is blocking the bottom of the window. Since the vent hole starts at the bottom, I had to flip it which put the vent hole at about 4 1/2 feet up. Also the window faces the street, my HOA street. I covered the white plastic vent plate with brown vinyl and I’ll hope my passion vine hurries up and covers more of it. Once the vent plate was all set up, snapped in the vent hose and tada, it wasn’t long enough. The a/c is HEAVY. Maybe I could of sat it on the workbench, but I wasn’t lifting it up there. I ordered a vent hose coupler and more vent hose. Once that arrived, I was ready to test out the a/c. I already have a similar a/c in the garage that’s venting out the side door, but it wasn’t enough to cool the garage. I knew with 2 I’d be all set. Turned on the a/c. Blowing nice and cold. Went over and turned on my old a/c. Doing great. Then the breaker tripped. 15 amp breaker is perfect for one, not 2. I’m not rewiring the garage so I’ll use each one at different times. All that written so you can plan your install. It’s probably super easy if you’re not trying to hide the vent and be halfway up a wall.

This is a really nice AC unit. Easy to assemble (easy snapping pieces, minimal tools needed) and easy to set up and get running almost immediately! The unit is very high quality, the vent tube and window insert (as well as the insulation and gap fillers provided) are very sturdy and feel like they will hold up well over many uses. The unit is really plug and play, you can turn it on and start pumping out cold air immediately using either the touch controls on the unit or the included remote. Its intuitive and easy to set temperatures for basic use, and also very quick to set up for schedules or changing settings. The icing on the cake is the phone app, it is one of the better ones I’ve seen and really makes it simple to connect the unit to wifi and be able to monitor and change settings remotely. The unit looks nice, works well (immediate cold air) and is easy to take apart and roll away for storage!

This is a brilliant unit all the way around. From design style, functionality, and ease of setup this one is a winner. I’ve used some less than desirable stand alone cooling units in the past and this one outshines them all! I literally had this up and running and then connected to my smartphone in minutes, literal minutes. Now that doesn’t include the time to setup venting and all that but this was pushing out artic cold air immediately. I’m going to use it in my garage workshop to make the Alabama summers bearable in my garage. It has a ton of features as well. WiFi connection, timers, swing feature to help circulate the cold air, multiple modes of operation and fan speeds and even a sleep timer. They’ve thought of it all and I am thrilled with it!!! Highly, highly recommend!!!

Anything on the Hubspace platform just seems to work well. This portable AC unit was easy to install and is (in my opinion (IMO)) durable. The vent tube is very rigid and thick. Other tubes on other AC units are much thinner and easier to break (IMO). Setup with the Hubspace app was very quick amd the interface is easy to use. The buttons are large and easy to press while the display is easy to read. The only issue i had with the unit was the fishy smell when i 1st started the unit up. After running it for 10 minutes, the smell was gone. Overall, this is a great little unit and I am excited to see how well this unit performs over the next few years. Very happy and will be suggesting this items to friends and family.

We have a bedroom that is directly above an unheated/uncooled garage. This bedroom is also the farthest from our main furnace/AC system. Even though the garage is insulated, keeping this bedroom warm in the winter and cool in the summer is a challenge. Putting a conventional window air conditioner unit here would really spoil the look of the house. The small window slider that the exhaust hose connects to is not even noticeable from the street. I was able to install the slider unit into my double hung window with ease. There was no cutting required. Snap the hose connector piece in place, connect the exhaust hose and then connect the hose to the A/C unit. Push the power button and immediate cold air !Installation is really that simple. It got up to 82 outside today. It was high 70s in the bedroom. I turned on the unit and it cooled the entire 20×20 bedroom down very quickly. I was really surprised how quickly it cools and how quiet the unit is. This is a great unit for this application.

The Vissani portable air conditioner requires minimum assembly and takes up very little space in the room. It comes with an assembly kit to install on a window so that it can release the hot air to outside. It also includes a sealing tape to ensure a tight fit. The control panel is on top of the unit and it also has a remote and wifi connectivity using the HUBSPACE app so that you can remotely control it. This way, you can potentially start cooling a room before you arrive there. The air release is in front of the unit and the air intake is in the back so you should leave some room in the back. The air intake also has two air filters that need to be cleaned every other week or so. It has a decent cooling power and quickly cooled down a small bedroom about 5 degrees in half an hour. It can potentially be used in a workshop, garage, RV, or small bedrooms. We are using it in a room where the home central AC doesn’t cool it enough (if you want to make that room cool the rest of the house becomes Antarctica). It is also a great back up if the home AC fails. It is not as quiet as I had hoped, but I can overlook that and do not notice it after a while. Overall, a great back up unit to have in the house and to use in small bedrooms.

The extendable hose exhausts outside without protection from wind, rain, insects, critters. I’ve been searching for something to install and found several options but cost$$$. Vissani needs to include or recommend something to help with the situation!
Oh and the cover can’t angle down too far or the unit doesn’t run properly and the hose heats up.
