I don’t know if it’s just me but my dogs love purina products dry food to wet food. I’ve gotten the expensive dry and it will just sit in there bowls and not eat. I have an old dog that is very particular about what he eats. He’s just a Heinz 57 bit to me he is the most smart and loving 15 year old boy and he’s very healthy because of the Purina products and I will keep buying it till my Old Friend passes!!!

All 4 of my dogs are old enough now to make the switch from Purina Puppy Chow to Purina adult dog food. It’s the only brand of dog food we use and the dogs will eat consistently. Our dogs range from 18 months to 13 years old and 4 different breeds although they are considered small to medium size. Purina provides the most complete nutrition for such a variety of dogs we won’t consider another brand!

We were buying the expensive food like Victor, Diamond, and Next Level. We decide out of the blue to buy this dog food from Walmart, because we noticed our German Shepherds wouldn’t really eat the food and it would sit in their bowls for almost two days, before they would finish it. But when we brought this dog food, they immediately dug into this and I’m re filling bowls AT LEAST twice a day (very large bowls, XL), and I have noticed their coats have a better look.

Our shepherd has been eating this for 3 years, I believe. I recently tried to switch to sensitive skin food due to scratching. we noticed she wasn’t as hyper and figured she was getting activity time with the recently moved home grandchildren, she actually stopped eating, but we didn’t realize it, figuring 1 or another of us were feeding her. One night at her supper time, we noticed she didn’t eat. oh well, habits change, then the next night she didn’t eat, after asking the family members we realized she would not eat the new food and she wasn’t tired from over stimulation with the kids, she didnt like the new food. We immediately brought this food back to her, and within a day, she was our rambunctious, on time every night, eating girl.

I have a 5 year old, 265 pound Dane. This was sent to me as a substitute for my order cause they were out of my choice. That Dane had the energy of my 2 1/2 year old English Setter. I was amazed at his energy level !!! Now on his regular food he is not quite as energetic. If I can afford it , I would like to switch back to this dog food. Cost is an issue for me.

My dogs seem to like it. I feel though that it makes them itchy so I’m not sure if it’s just a coincidence because they started itching when they started eating this food. I will switch to another brand to see if the itching continues and then buy it again to see if it’s the Food or something else. I do like that they are of a good size so that both my huge Pitbull/Mastiff (90 lbs) and my small dog which is a small terrier about 15 lbs can both eat them without issues of being too small or too big. It’s great because of I buy the small ones the big did wants to eat it and vice versa si this one is great size for both. the ingredients seem to be very healthy that’s why I chose it for them. I like the big size bag for the value. Food has gotten science-based so this one is budget friendly.

Great deal on this quality dog food. We’ve been feeding our large breed dogs Dog Chow for several long-lived and healthy generations. Excellent combination of nutrition, value and quality and perfect for free feeding for deep chested dogs without having to worry about weight gain issues. Our dogs are happy, healthy and energetic!

I buy this dogfood because it does seem to have a bit for nutrient then sum. My dogs love it. I do switch from beef to one with lamb when it’s availed. I would say to measure ur dogs food cause this is any easy weight gainer if they are older and don’t move around as much .info is on back of bag. Which is great.

I love and trust purina animal products for all of my pets for many, many years! I know they are receiving quality food for all stages of life for a good price! I’ve tried other brands, and for my more sensitive or picky eaters, I know purina isn’t going to make my babies sick, and they actually favor purina brand foods over any others.
