    I liked that it turned on, and that when it turned on it was a TV because I bought a TV and when I opened the box it was a TV. No false narratives here, it is exactly what you pay for, there will be a TV in that box. Only downside is there are no side ports for the TV inputs so you can’t mount this TV directly onto the wall

    No illusion about this tv being the latest, most high-tech or fanciest on the market, but still a very good item for the price and adequate for our needs.

    I had not owned a Phillips Smart Tv nor had I owned a Google Tv. I heard and read Good things about Phillips latest offerings so I thought I would give them a try. This is a Nice Tv with a great picture and sound along with all the settings for such. My problem with this set and the reason for the 3 Stars is the Google end of it. Once again, all up in your business and complicating the search for the most basic of channel selections. If one doesn’t need any more complications in their lives then I would recommend going with a TCL or Hisense ROKU Tv. I have and do own both of those and they are just as Nice as this Phillips without the Google intrusion.

    The remote control:
    1) Doesn’t work. As in, I have to jab at the buttons 20 times for the TV to respond. And;
    2) The remote control is physically broken. The back keeps falling out and I have to use a rubber band to keep it together.

    Good night you’re getting it to work because of Google it was a Google television by Phillips I had problems setting it up and Google didn’t know how to correct a problem or would not even send me a code by voice so I return the television I know I’m looking for one that does not have any Google in it they returned with fast and easy

    customer service rep was told to have item delievered on a weekday, the televsion was delivered on a Sunday. When I went to the location on monday the televison was not there. I have been trying to get a refund or replacement, but im being denied. Hence, i do not have a review for this televison because I dont have it in my possession. How can you deliver a television in a factory box open to the public so everyone can see.

    Disappointed in the captions… as far as I can tell, the viewer cannot pick the location on the screen where they show up. In order to get the captions at the bottom where they were not interfering with the picture we had to choose a huge text size. That alone takes up 3 inches on the bottom of the screen.

    I bought a “new” tv but this one is used. First, I noticed the batteries were installed in the remote control. The “What’s in the box” section of the quick start guide shows the batteries separate from the remote in its own plastic wrap. Second, all the plastic wrap holding the feet, screws, and remote were already torn open, though the tape to hold them to the styrofoam padding covered the rips. Third, when I got the tv up and running, I found someone named maria silva (I think) had already created an account on the tv and had started watching things. I could tell because certain shows/movies showed they had been started but not finished. And things were in spanish.
    The tv itself still had all the stickers on and seems to be okay. But ordering a new one and getting a used one is not forgivable, IMO.

    After waiting for three days, the TV screen was shattered. Somewhere along the line the product was dropped. So the price – for a broken TV – was excessive. product delivered three days later instead of next day. I ordered a replacement BUT if this one comes late and is broken, ….Walmart has lost a customer.

    Probably the worst tv I’ve ever owned, problems since day one. One issue is I have to constantly turn it on and off whenever I change inputs or even changes apps. Once I’ve turned it off and on again it will display what is supposed to be displayed
