I ordered these because they were supposed to be a new pair of joycons right? but the tape seals to the original box were broken and there was scotch tape on top covering them :/ the joy cons were wrapped in the plastic still but the joycons themselves had like dirt and smudges on them.

Very disappointed that we received a GENERIC BRAND Joy-Con and NOT the official Nintendo brand controller that was shown in the pictures on this listing.
At $56, this is a very good price for an official controller but quite expensive for an off-brand device.
We presume the controller works as well as any generic joy-con controller, but for the price paid, there are cheaper options that do the same thing.
We are retuning this item as we wanted the extra features (new Motion Control Update) only available on the Nintendo brand controllers, which are required for things like Nintendo Switch Sports.
If the seller ends up sending us the correct controller, we will update our review and add a few more stars.

DO NOT BUY THIS LISTING. I ordered these without reading the revirws, and I’m sorry I did. As many others stated, they are definitely not authentic. It even says it on the box, ” this product is not designed, manufactured, approved, sponsored or endorsed by Nintendo.” Check out my pictures. I have reported the seller to customer service and will return these, hopefully they can give these guys the boot. It’s not cool to list an item as authentic when you’re really selling a 3rd party brand. Who knows, they Maybe great controllers, but it’s not what I wanted to buy, and that’s frustrating.

The controllers were a replacement for the ones that came with the switch. They are name brand. So they are of high quality and work like the need to.

These are EUROPE controllers and there is so much lag when connecting it to my switch that there’s no point in using them. If you move control stick it takes 2 second delay on screen. I’ve reset my switch recalibrated I’ve done everything is says online I could do. Even was going to change my switch region to Europe to see if that helps with these Europe version of controllers but DO NOT do that because any games you bought and ur Nintendo switch online account won’t be on there and you’ll lose any data not backed up to a separate memory card. So wasted money on controllers. I even bought Nintendo brand only even tho it’s 1/4 price for off brand ones but I read those off brand have lag, but this Europe version thing they sent me instead of regular ones they advertised make it so you can’t play games with these lagging, and now I’ve wasted $80 and still without controllers.
I kept searching online to see if I can still use em and technically they can work on the switch but because the delay and lag it’s pointless to play video game with them since your gonna move control stick or press button when u need immediate response for literally every game that exists so yea if you read online that they work, they will connect and move around but they will be useless for anything other than selecting a game on menu.

Never received. The vendor WILL NOT credit me for something I never received. Contacted Walmart customer service for the third time. Supposedly, Walmart will now credit me for a product that was not delivered on November 29th as Crystal insists. Do not buy from these dirtbags.

Do not buy these. We are pretty sure they are “knock-offs.” They have not worked correctly since the day we bought them. We can’t get any response from the company.

These controllers are marketed as Nintendo brand, but they are not. They are cheaply made and feel way lighter than the real controllers. They also will not charge on my Nintendo dock.
Buyer beware. I wish I was able to return them.

I wanted two more controllers to use on games. When these came the R did not work. We thought it was our error but as everyone tried it was a dysfunctional controller.
I do believe it was a possible previous used one that accidently got restocked. I had no problems with returning. Fedex came andpicked it up and i received my refund.
I went into store to buy sincei can check package there. This one works perfect.

Easy purchase and works immediately with my son’s switch. He had a broken remote so we were looking for a quick replacement. These colors are really cool and distinctive. He love bright colors, so it’s a great fit.
