The number 6’s are for the large plastic funnel. I have the large Mellita caraffe (how do you spell that?). Go to Target. Buy some Stumptown Hairbender whole bean coffee. I have a Breville Barista Express. I set the grind to the coarsest setting. Place a paper towel under the grinder, it overflows a little. I grind three (3) single shot doses of coffee and dump it into a 4 cup measuring cup. I then fill the 4 cup measuring cup with as much filtered water as will fit (close to the top) and stir. Put plastic wrap over the measuring cup and allow to brew in the refrigerator for 12 – 24 hours. Stir occasionally during the brew (every 4 – 6 hours). Anytime after 12 hours is good. Remove from refrigerator. Place #6 filter into the funnel over the glass caraffe. Wet the filter with filtered water. Stir the coffee to swirl the grounds. Gently pour all of it, grounds and all into the #6 Melitta filter. Wait about 15 minutes for all of the coffee to filter. Pour into cold brew bottles and stick it back into the fridge. Best cold brew ever! Tastes exactly like Stumptown Cold Brew sold in the bottle at $4+ a pop. I swear it’s that easy. P.S. Stumptown Cold Brew is the best. This is a spot-on match.

Pro tip: fold the crease also the bottom and side for better fit in the coffee basket.
