I wanted this to capture rodents that crawl in the engine compartments of cars that want to eat the soybean wire covering that is installed in most newer vehicles.
But find that the glue has a peanut odor embedded in it, and I feel it attracts perhaps rodents that hadn’t noticed the soy odor. On one capture the rat was held in place but was able to chew everything its mouth could reach, while another rat some how chewed it it to 100’s of pieces and escape leaving a blood trail.

I bought this as well as a few others, that were “pre-baited” and this one was the one that caught like 6 or 7 mice in a couple days. I placed a few on the kitchen counters, under the oven, other appliances, water heater closet, etc. I also placed the other ones, and I placed way more of those, only caught 1 with that and honestly it seemed like that one was just luck, most the mice would just avoid the others, and with the others, I saw hair on them which means they were able to get away. This one? Nope, thee second they touch it, basically over for them.
I didn’t even put any food or anything on these by the way, and I happened to catch one work in real time, the mouse was running full speed and then immediately just got stuck.

My second garage is a workshop made out of a metal structure. . I get geckos, centipedes and any other small bugs. These traps are phenomenal. They catch all of those things and in the past two years, there were two very small snakes captured. I advise only getting these large traps. No odor and really work.

poison smell, if you live in a bachelor pad, this is poison for your lungs. I got sick from using a few, i thought i couldnt sleep due to rats, these made it worse. had no sleep last night, the smell is terrible. buy a different brand.

Purchased these for a camp, did not disappoint, even works in the cold for anything from flies to multiple rodents or large rodents highly recommend

I recently moved to a new place that has a mouse problem, so I placed these along the wall wherever I see mouse dropping. Caught a total of 15 mouse with about 25 traps over 2 weeks time and haven’t noticed any new activity since.

works great for mice and smaller Rats, however the larger rats are determined to get loose so if you don’t check traps often they usually get loose. some even bite off their own tail to escape.

I’m giving 5 stars because it’s effective and worked like a charm.
I have two large and nosey dogs, so these traps were easily slid under a dresser frame along the track the mice were using, and out of reach of the dogs. Within 24 hours, I had 4 mice on it. (I plunked a little chicken popcorn on the centre of each side for enticement).
My ONLY issue with the glue traps is the guilt lol. Once the mice were stuck, the dogs and I had a hard time dealing with the squeaking, and after 24 hours learning that the FIRST caught was STILL alive, I filled a bucket of water and set the trap with mice in that upside down to finish it more quickly. It’s a horrible way to die, but after I had to replace my tv because of a chewed cord …. It was a no brainer and the spring traps weren’t working fast enough for the clever lil bastards.
I managed to use these without ever touching any glue myself, and while the chicken pieces and poop came off in the water, the mice did not, making toss out easy in the outside can.

The glue on these traps is quite strong. Each time I’ve heard a mouse and set a couple of these out…the mouse has been caught. My daughter pointed out that these are quite cruel to the mouse when it cannot escape. She feels the traditional traps are a more humane way to deal with mice. I do feel guilty after hearing this, but the traditional traps are difficult for me to set, and I am more concerned about the diseases mice might bring into the house. I wish there were something to keep them away, but if there is…I have yet to find it. In the meantime, these are easy to use and very effective…much more so than the sprays and sonic repellers that I have tried in the past
