Picked up 2 of these monitors for my work station. So far they have worked perfectly fine. Obviously not 4k ultra HD display but perfectly fine for work tasks and productivity. Only negative I have is that even though I got 2 of the exact same monitors I can tell there is a slight difference in contrast between the 2 even after adjusting the settings to try and get them to match. Not a huge deal, if they were $300+ I would be annoyed but for the price is not enough to complain about.

Great monitor for the price but if youre purchasing the non tilt version, get something to put under the stand because the monitor will be tilting downwards a bit

This review is for model 24MR41A-B.
In short, there were 4 models on sale that we could choose from:
– 24MR41A-B ($107.99, 100hz, non height adjustable, Freesync, what I bought)
– 24MS500 ($99.99, 100hz, non height adjustable)
– 24MS550 ($119.99, 100hz, height adjustable)
– 24MP40A-C ($139.99, 75hz, non height adjustable)
– 24MP450 ($199.99, 75hz, height adjustable)
This monitor was for my wife so that she can browse the internet and play simple games.
I elected to buy the 24MR41A-B since it has Freesync and felt like a good deal.
However, I totally underestimated the fact that it is non height adjustable. On top of it, it cannot be tilt forward and backward. While I could have live without height adjustability, no tilting is totally unacceptable, especially that the monitor is heavily leaning toward the user.
Because of that, we have to put boxes & books to adjust the height and even then, we have to put shims so that the screen is facing the user properly.
I am talking to you LG: this is a terrible design. Such adjustments should not be options. I’ve learned my lesson.
As for the screen, we just installed it so I don’t know if it will long lasting. So far, I have not noticed dead pixels (though I have not been looking for them). The sharpness of the screen is good and the colors look ok. But then again, this is only for light use hence why I was looking for a cheap monitor.
One thing that is already getting on my nerves is that one button thing to navigate through the screens menus. Personally, I find it annoying to use because for some of the options, it is unintuitive. I guess I’ll have to get used to it.
I am noticing four screw holes at the back; I guess it’s for those people that have their own monitor adjustable support, which might explain the lack of adjustability.
