How To Use HTH® Green To Blue Advanced Shock System: Simply follow the on-pack instructions for both Pack I and Pack II. Pack I is the Cal Hypo Shock treatment and Pack II is a flocculant that drops dead particles to the bottom of the pool for easy vacuuming.

You will never get the brown grit in the step 2 product out of your pool. We vacuumed it 5 times; wasted so much water and still have that stuff in our pool do not buy it!!!! Worst product ever

Absolutely love this green to blue our pool literally goes from green to blue with in a day depending how dirty our pool is. This stuff is like magic!! We get it in the 2 pack because it lasts a lot longer and our pool will stay blue for about 3 months depending on how much we use and abuse the pool. By I swear by this stuff, me and my husband use this and the chlorine along with a piece of brass metal and next day alls we have to do is vacuum the pool and it’s like brand new again.

This is a two step product and while it did help clear up my pool, the the step “Advanced II” portion of this product leaves a very fine silt in the bottom of the pool that is very difficult to remove, especially if you have an above ground pool with a cartridge filter and are unable to vacuum to waste. The use of this product, as recommended by the manufacturer, turned into an after use clean up nightmare for me!

I decided to try this product in my saltwater pool. BIG mistake!!
I’m still trying to get the brown particles out of the pool, and I only put in 1 bag!!!
I’m not sure if it’s supposed to be brown to begin with, but every other pool product I’ve used has been a while or clear color, so I’m wondering…. was this a bad batch or what was wrong with it to be BROWN in color???
Believe me, DON’T waste your money on this product!!!

This does exactly what it say. Follow the instructions and next morning turn on the pool vacuum and within 6 hrs. the water was a greenish blue. I spent hundred on another known name brand that did nothing, This was shock system was worth every penny.

This might be a good product but in my opinion it’s not that great. I have an above ground pool and now it looks like I have mud in bottom. I tried to vacuum the supposedly algae and I got nowhere, looks like dust from a dirt road in bottom of my pool. I’ve had to order something called yellow out to hopefully eat all the algae up. Bottom line is it was expensive in my opinion due to the fact that it didn’t work and had to order yet something else.

Did it turn my green pool to blue? Sure did. But it also left the nasty brown foam my children described as diarrhea vomit that is incredibly difficult to get out. At first it settled on the top. I skimmed off 100s of gallons to get it off the top. But the rest sunk. And as I have my vacuum try to vacuum it out, it mixes back into the water. I don’t know how to get it out of my pool and I am in a never ending cycle. I need help. I don’t know how to get it out of my pool without draining the whole 20,000 gallons. Which is why I purchased the product in the first place. To avoid draining the pool. I have a nice dolphin vacuum that does not generally mix much up and I don’t want to use my filter to get it out to ruin that. So frustrated with this process.

I have a 27×52 pool that turned pea soup green, tried the other stuff I’ve used but didn’t touch it. I hesitated because it’s expensive I used 2 packs gave it the 24 hours….. just do it! Worth every penny , crystal clear and it all solidified to the bottom

I was caught off guard we had not had any rain for quite a while and when it rained it turned my pool a green color I purchased this green to blue product and it worked as advertised now I will use it on a weekly basis.

I didn’t do any research before I bought this product which was my fault. This kit is not made for small above ground pop up pools. My pool was just slightly green and now I have to wait a few DAYS to get in. Please look at all pictures and videos . The product did do what it intended but made everything 10 times harder. As soon as I vacuum up the crap on the pool floor , it stirs it all up again and I have to wait another 24 hours before I literally repeat the same process. I wish I never did this . I do not have the correct equipment for this.
