I was excited not to have to leave the house for chlorine, but i received them all broken to pieces. thankfully walmart did take care of rhe problem. but i would not recommend ordering this product online.

the product arrived late and damaged. Out of the entire 5 pound tub only 6 tablets are usable! Most are conplete power or broken into tiny pieces. Do not waste your money.

My gripe is that the container only ships with 10 tablets, leaving the bucket half empty. What a waste! I believe they intentionally don’t state the quantity so that the buyer is deceived into thinking they’re getting a whole container full of tablets.

I will pay the extra $4 and order from Amazon in the future. I decided to wait a week ( 7 days) for this item just to save $4. It has now been 10 days and still no chlorine tablets. Shame on me for choosing this route. I’m sharing this in hope I can warn other people trying to save $4 dollars. The tracking said it was in my city Sunday and would be delivered (late) on Monday ( delivery date was for Sat) . It is now Tuesday and the tracking says it’s still in the same place. Lesson learned.

These will last as advertised once ALL your chemistry is adjusted properly, so buy a 6 way test kit, it pays for itself.
I use this with Clorox “Awesome algaecide” as that eliminates wasting chlorine on keeping algae under control.
There will be dust from the tablets in the tub so wear a particle mask, gloves and eye protection for common sense safety.
I also added a Betta SE robotic pool skimmer that runs 24/7on solar and my pool has never looked better. Cleaned out on a daily basis it reduces chlorine waste thanks to the organic material that otherwise builds up and ends up decaying inside your pool filter between cleanings.

The item was good. The delivery was terrible. Walmart needs to take notice of the delivery service they hire. It is part of customer service that is being paid for annually.

DO not buy, this should have had 10 8oz tablets, they only had 5 tablets. supposed to be 5lb containers, they weighed only a little over 3 including heavy plastic container. i had an unopened old one from this time last year it had 10

This is an excellent product and does a good job at sanitizing my above ground pool, however, quite a few of the tablets were broken.

In terms of effectiveness, I’ll try to remember to attach a photo. Our 12′ backyard pool had been infested with algae after several terrible days of absence and Ph misalignment. The pool was GREEN.
Within one day, the algae was dead. It all sank to the bottom where I could fish it out, and I will be buying this bucket every time from now on
