I’ve been thinking about buying a new computer for the last couple years. At the price Walmart was selling these HP Laptops at on Cyber Monday it was a now or never new computer purchase. The keyboard performs poorly for dimly lit rooms, it’s just too hard to see the keyboard without enough light in the room. There is a small 1/16 of an inch light colored blip on the lower right side of the computer screen. This small comet blip has a lighter color than the rest of the screen. You would not see something like this on a $500 dollar computer. Some of you are complaining about the speed of this thing. It’s not slow at all. I have a 2016 HP 17 inch laptop with windows 10 that I bought new and that computer is a total nightmare to use because of it’s slow speed. This 14 inch laptop is not slow at all compared to older computers sold by HP. This HP computer is fine for personal use but the 14 inch screen is too small to use in a business application.

I bought this laptop simply to organize my gardening notes. I have a bunch of stuff of my phone that I wanted to move to this laptop. I figured the low memory wouldn’t be an issue if I used an SD card with it. It was still an issue. The computer keeps glitching, removing items and deleting things. It would have been worth another $75 to get one with more memory. It comes with too many pre-installed apps as well leaving you with even less memory. (20 gigs if I remember right)

Like this HP very much. The only thing that might be an issue is that the button to turn on is very small, and people with arthritis may have difficulty. Other than that, it’s a good size, lightweight, and portable. I am very pleased with the laptop.

I received this computer and set it up with no problem. Days later i tried loggin in and computer seem to be dead. I tried charging it – no response. Left it alone for a couple of days and tried again computer worked. Haven’t used in a while but tried it a couple days ago- nothing, I’ve had it on the charger for two days – still nothing. I need to know How do ai get a replacement or refund.

I have had HP laptops before and have never had a problem with them. This one wouldn’t even turn on. I plugged it in and let it charge overnight and it still wouldn’t turn on. I contacted HP support and they weren’t much help either. I returned this laptop and purchased a different brand.

i actually feel like HP needs to run me a check for emotional damages after trying to use this computer. the price is great, yeah, but you sure get what you pay for. (basically the parts to the computer, but they don’t actually work and you cannot do anything on this computer)

PIECE IF CRAP!! BEWARE – DO NOT BUY FROM THIS SELLER! Description did not mention unit was ‘refurbished’ or ‘prior owned’. Also, unit is so old I am not able to down load any apps due to the inability to update the laptop. Apparently, once unit is 10 yrs old, it will not be able to accept ANY updated! This was not mentioned in description. Also, laptop was not completely cleaned. Screen had dirt and smear marks on it. Very disappointing and dissatisfied with laptop. I cannot stress enough…DO NOT BUY FROM THIS SELLER!

I can type faster than the computer can put my words down. If you’re on a budget, I would recommend it, but if you can afford the extra 50 bucks for the upgrade, I would choose the upgrade! This computer, no offense, sucks! Just so slow…It really is super slow, and no it’s not my internet connection.

The HP 14 inch Windows laptop is a great laptop. I have three of these laptops in my home. Me and my family use these laptops for homeschool and college. They work great with the demand for school work, zoom meetings, online class sessions and ETC. The battery lasts for a good amount of time per charge. They look great and work great.
