Beluga –
Great fan so far. NIce having more than three settings for speed.
Teresa Roper –
Great fan. Quiet and has many setting; from a gentle breeze to a strong wind
Only one thing I don’t like. The bright blue light that lights up the whole room
Should have a light off option

I like the easy assembly and ease of use. The remote is a nice bonus!

This is an exceptional unit ….it is very very quiet completely surprised me how quiet it is
Slim design with a small foot print… the price was a real deal can’t say anything negative
(Bought it as a replacement)

The first 3 speeds although not incredibly strong are very quiet. The stronger breeze created for settings 4-8 is louder but not intrusively loud.

Holy moly – who do you have reviewing this product? A bunch of morons – that’s who. Clearly something that’s the fault of the shipper suddenly turns into a 1 star skewing the score of the product. Amazon needs to fix this. Anyway, dope product – love the 8 speeds, and it’ll cool you in an instant. For idiots expecting that you’d get quiet speeds at full speed, please just return the product. God, I hate Amazon reviews sometimes.

I cannot empathize how quiet this fan is! I bought it for my bedroom at night and I usually need it dark, quiet and cool. I just needed a new fan to move the air enough to circulate over the chill water radiator system. However, this fan doesn’t have enough power (air flow-cfm) to utilize it elsewhere in my home or during the hotter days even in the bedroom. Manufactures have stopped putting the air flow rating (CFM) on their products, boxes, manuals and websites. If I knew it didn’t flow enough air I would of bought something else. To add insult to the slight, the remote doesn’t work and Honeywell customer service has been completely unresponsive.

Update: I decided to return the item as it has only two useful settings out of eight and is too pricey given that.
Really the only setting that has decent cooling power is the highest setting, “power cool.” I’m using this in a small bedroom a few feet from my bed. For that purpose, this setting works best. Except for the two highest settings, the other six settings are completely useless as they move no or little air and truly can’t be felt unless one is standing right smack in front of the fan or actually pressed against it. I have no idea why these six other settings even exist. The “white noise” setting doesn’t in fact produce white noise at all. That was a big disappointment. Yes, as others have noted, the base is inexcusably cheap plastic and the tower can easily be knocked over as it is not at all stable. I have small dogs but medium or large dogs would easily be able to knock this over as would little kids. Unlike some others, I haven’t noticed increased noise when it’s in oscillation mode. I haven’t tried the remote yet so I can’t speak to that.

A great example of planned obsolescence. It’s like this thing is designed to break. The first one I received was defective out the box, constantly making thunking noises at low speeds, and the next one as well. With how tall it is, and how no thought was put to add weight at the bottom so it doesn’t fall over all the time, to me, just shows how this is meant to break. It’s advertised as quiet but at any setting I can’t stand it as it doesn’t stop making clunky noises. Cheap build, loud as hell, horrible blue LEDs (why), and destined to be defective and throw in a landfill. I love the mass production of cheap garbage instead of making an actual good product.

Fan power is good nothing wrong but the overall quality of plastic is very cheap. I mean if you see the price vs quality it’s not worth spending that much on a fan. It’s better to get $22 fan from Walmart and both will work same.

Initially, when I bought this product I wanted Honeywell Tower Fan 8, which has 8 different fan speeds. The first time, the product came, it was Honeywell Tower Fan with 5 different speeds. I decided to return the product with a return label. When I bought this product, the next two times, the product was lost. Thanks, FedEx. Now, the product came today and it is the same product Honeywell Tower Fan Speed 5 instead of 8. In the order, it says I bought a tower fan with 8 different speed modes. I’m not going to complain it is here and the seller was in touch with me. At least it works and does cool the room.
