This is the sixth vegan toothpaste I’ve tried in the past year (yes, I counted 😄), and it’s hands down the best so far. The taste is my favorite part — super fresh and clean. It also lathers better than any of the others I’ve used. Most importantly, it leaves my mouth feeling really clean after brushing, which is what matters most. I think I’ve finally found the one! No more experimenting — this one’s just perfect.

I recently became aware that I may have a sensitivity to “Sodium laurel sulfate” due to gum bleeding that I struggle with, despite being in good standing at the dentist and no gum health issues diagnosis and numerous precautions that I take down to being extremely gentle and also using literal toddler very soft bristle toothbrushes and trying numerous different toothpastes.
With that being said, this toothpaste does NOT contain SLS. Within the short week I have used this toothpaste I have not experienced one instance of bleeding, irritation or sloughing – where as a toothpaste I have used on and off in rotation with a standard non-specialuzed toothpaste since September – Gum Detoxify from another popular brand, they BOTH have SLS and always cause me sloughing and bleeding.
As for the whitening aspect of this toothpaste, I’m glad to say – it’s already shown great improvement too! Much better than their parent companies other products I’ve used for decades.

It might just be the SLS literally hurting you.
I’d like to mention I do have sensitive skin and a geographical tongue so it’s really easy for me to “peel” anyways, but this was getting ridiculous over time.
