I also appreciate the room sensor that helps regulate the temp. This model uses AI to analyze your temperature preferences and home/away routines to create a custom heating and cooling Smart Schedule that will help lower your utility bills. I can be at work and am able to change the settings. Saving money and a gorgeous product… what more can I ask for.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Coming from an older model of Nest the installation was super easy. It helps to know what kind of heating/ cooling system you have. I’ve noticed when we change the temp the thermostat says it’s learning. So as time goes on it will learn your behavior. I enjoy the feature where it knows if you are home or not based on our phone locations. This allows us to not have to remind ourselves to turn it off when we are not home, very efficient. I love that it’s gold in shiny. It looks high tech and creates that “smart home” look.

Purchased a second Nest thermostat since I already had a gen 3 on a different floor. Google home app scheduling function is not as easy to set and review schedule. It is a loss not having the option to use the NEST App and keep both thermostats in one App

I whave had 3 Google Nest Thermostats in less than 18 months that all broke down. Google customer service is completely useless. The first one stopped communicating with WiFi so Google sent me a replacement one for $220 that worked 5 months. Then they wanted me to do the same thing again and I instead just when to Home Depot to buy a brand new one. That one also stopped communicating with wifi before it broke completely down in less than 12 months. Stay away from it

Delivery arrived on time as promised. Super easy to install, which I decided to do on my own instead of paying $100 to have someone professionally install. I followed the instructions of the video, viola it worked with no issues whatsoever. The product itself is amazing. I’ve programmed it to my temperature settings during the day when I’m home, and it senses when I’m not home and will switch to eco mode which means I’m saving money. No issues with it disconnecting from WiFi, and I love the fact that I can control everything from my phone. Lastly, the design is sleek and sophisticated when compared to an ordinary thermostat. Beautiful display, and lots of different settings/options. Would highly recommend this product.
