good flip phone, perfect for seniors, lots of great features such as flip open to answer a call.
If you text a lot you may not like it and if you are willing to give kiki in china a name and address they will send you a free extra battery, ( I used a friends business address for this ). The back cover is very hard to open, just take your time with it………..Will update in 6 months.

After 6 months my Easyfones and free extra batteries are working great, no complaints, easy to use and change settings, loud when you set it to loud. Can set it to record all calls if you want, handy to have if someone gives you appt times and dates and you can playback later.
Good speaker, loud vibrate, 3g, 4g, Volte, nice screen, large buttons, flashlight, flip open to answer, close to end call, a small lightweight phone and much more.
……. Now that the back cover has been off a few times it is easier to remove and stays in place…..If you keep this phone take advantage of the free extra battery (ask kiki) as you will not find them on here or in the stores.

My wife already owned this phone, but the flip-up section broke at the hinge, where it connects to the body. I noticed another customer mentioning the same issue in their review. Since my wife needed a replacement phone immediately, I decided to purchase this model again, as she was already familiar with how it works. This way, all I had to do was transfer her SIM card to the new phone.
Unfortunately, what I received was not a brand-new phone. The inside of the box was torn, the wires were haphazardly stuffed in, the protective film was missing from the screen, the battery lacked the pull tab needed for easy removal, making SIM card installation a hassle, and there was no operator’s manual included. Given that I paid full price, I was disappointed to receive what appeared to be a used phone. However, since my wife needed it right away, I chose to keep it rather than go through the hassle of exchanging it.
Update (2025-03-18):
I’m updating my review and increasing my rating from 3 stars to 5 stars.
After reading my review, Easyfone reached out to me, and Kiki personally offered either a brand-new replacement phone or a discount on the one I had already purchased. I was genuinely surprised by their willingness to make things right and ensure I had a positive experience. Their customer service went above and beyond, and I truly felt they cared about customer satisfaction.
Kudos to Kiki and the Easyfone team! Because of their great support, I’m happy to update my rating to 5 stars as a sign of appreciation.

I love the big buttons, and I love the fact that I get to show off this honkin’ big red brick of a phone (I even get to pretend that it’s a “harmoni-phone” when I perform Blues songs at karaoke).
But it is stupid.
SOME of the things about this FAR-FROM-EASYPHONE that I can’t stand are the broken English instruction manual; the broken English prompts on the phone; the fact that I have to hit a million buttons to change from lower case to upper case and vice versa in when I enter names in my contacts or in mid-sentence when I text; the fact that I can’t view my IN and OUT messages in one spot (instead, my INBOX and OUTBOX are separate entities, even when messages are to and from the same person); the fact that I cannot receive multimedia messages; the fact that, instead of selecting one day to add a weekly event on my calendar, I have to DESELECT other days; the fact that, when I want to change the volume setting of something, I have a three-second window to do it; the fact that it flicks back and forth from “chatr” and “Rogers,” so if somebody calls while it says “Rogers” it goes to voicemail; AND THE MYSTERY BEEPS IT GIVES ME AT LEAST TWICE A DAY, EVEN THOUGH I HAVE READ ALL OF MY MESSAGES.
There are more stupid things, but these are the top ones.
If at least many of these things do not make sense, it is because they don’t. I have had this phone for four months now, and it is a joke–good thing I have a sense of humour. The only thing more inconvenient than this mentally-delayed phone is the inconvenience of dealing with a return and refund through the mail (been there done that in the past and do not wanna have to deal with that). I consider this a punishment for all of my sins in life. But, like I said earlier, it looks cool. I like props.
I tried really hard to refrain from leaving a review, but the freaking beep has put me over the edge. Even the customer-care specialist who contacted me right away (as if they new that whoever is not a rocket scientist would have trouble with this phone) has no idea why these beeps exist.
I am certain that it is just a matter of time before I just go ahead and by a new flip phone from a legitimate retailer.
This is the about the fifth flip phone that I have ever owned, and THIS IS BY FAR THE LEAST-EASY PHONE EVER.
**December 6 Update: the outer screen just died–stupid phone…I did not even do anything to it. On the bright side, because it is so big and red, more people have been noticing it and freaking out about how cool I am.
***January 5, 2023 Update: I thought that maybe I was imagining it the first two times; however, it did it again last night, and I am positive that this phone has randomly shut itself off three times since I purchased it.
****January 11, 2023 Update: thanks to the stupid calendar on this stupid phone, I am still getting weekly reminders on days that USED to have reminders but no longer have reminders. When I click on the date, I get told that I have nothing scheduled, but I still get the messages. It is time for a new phone…
*****January 13, 2023 Update: I was still putting it off, but I finally just ordered a new phone. It might still be risky, but I had to. I needed the light on this stupid phone, but it would not shut off when I tried to shut it off. I had to turn off the stupid phone in order to turn off the light. In all fairness, after I turned the phone on again, I turned on the light and was able to turn it off–but it is still stupid.

Do Not Buy – Terrible Quality!
I had to return this phone once already because the top screen was broken. They sent me a “new” one, but it is clearly not new at all! Every package was already opened, the charger doesn’t work, and the phone looks used. The quality is awful—definitely the worst I’ve seen. I bought this for my elderly mom because she’s used to this model and has trouble learning a new one, but this has been a huge disappointment. Do NOT buy this product!
As I mentioned earlier about the quality of the phone, today I want to highlight the excellent customer service. They quickly resolved the issue and were incredibly kind and caring. They initially offered me a refund, but I preferred a working charging stand instead. My mom still needs this phone because she’s used to it. Thank you to the customer service team for your prompt response and truly caring attitude!
