The image quality and stability are quite impressive. Range seems good too. 500-800m h, 100m alt, unobstructed seems no problem. If trees etc block the path, the transmitter warns you in advance the signal is dropping. I was able to correct without losing contact and activating RTL. One flight encountered excessive wind gusts and the transmitter warns you it is having trouble maintaining position so you can take measures. It is fully automatic position hold flight mode. You can’t turn this off. So I have to use other drones as part of flight practice because this one is too easy to fly to get good practice. However, because it is easy, you can focus on the photography and not piloting which gives confidence to go up in many situations and pay attention to the exposure and other settings. It’s very small too, so easy to carry. I got a protective case. DJI did a really nice job integrating everything together seamlessly. A few minor issues: you cannot configure the led lights. They are front back, but I prefer starboard-port. They also aren’t very bright, and since it is so small, it’s not easy to attach additional lights etc. Esp if it’s going to add any weight. Therefore, visibility can be a problem. The motors have a safety feature where they shut down if they encounter an obstruction. Usually this is good. But this has been concerning around aggressive birds. I have not had any contact, and try to avoid them or land if they get too close, but if there were any contact, that might be a problem as any blocking of the rotors would shut down the motors. Also, some features seem to appear and disappear. The remote id was a little tricky to configure. Something about my location wasn’t set right so the option disappeared. DJI helped diagnose this, so great support (thank you DJI!). There is also an FPV gimbal feature that disables gimbal stabilization for more FPV flight feel (i.e. roll). I experimented with it on the bench, but in the field, the option seemed to disappear. I haven’t figured that one out yet. But overall, quite impressive.

I’m writing to express my disappointment with a drone I recently purchased through your platform.
I had a trips to Alberta and British Columbia this month specifically to capture beautiful aerial footage with my drone. However, my entire plan was ruined because most of the natural viewpoints and scenic areas I visited were marked as no-drone zones. In several locations, people even yelled at me to stop flying, making the experience uncomfortable and frustrating.
Even when I tried to fly the drone in remote areas, far from any people, I received an in-app message saying I may not be authorized to fly there and was prompted to enter my phone number to obtain authorization. Shortly after, the drone lost access to satellites and was essentially shut down.
It’s very disappointing to discover that this product has serious limitations when used in Canada—something that was not clearly mentioned in the product description. If there are licensing or authorization issues with this drone model, I believe Amazon and the manufacturer should disclose that clearly, especially for non-commercial or amateur photographers like myself.

I’ve been using this mini drone for over two years. It travelled with me to Europe and around Canada and it’s been a superb and reliable tool for capturing aerial photos and videos.
I switched from a Mavic Pro to the mini line for the ease of use and relaxed restrictions for under 250g drones around the globe. I started with the original Mini, then upgraded to Mini 2 and finally to the Mini 3 Pro. It’s been a fantastic drone.
The image quality and performance are significantly improved over the previous generations and even compared to its successor – the MIni 4 Pro – it easily holds it’s own. The 1/1.3″ sensor is a huge upgrade over the previously used 1/2″ one and the photo and video quality is excellent during the day and still impressive in low light conditions. The footage recorded in D-Cinelike is easy to grade and retains a good dynamic range. The videos from the drone can even be upscaled to 8k in Topaz with really good results.
If there is one thing that I don’t like about the Mini 3 Pro it is the 48MP photo mode. This feature got a significant upgrade in Mini 4 Pro. M3P struggles in this mode. File saves are sluggish, there is no 48MP burst or autobracketing and it seems that in specific conditions either because of a hardware issue or a software bug, the 48MP photos can crash the drone’s software making it unresponsive until the battery runs out. While quite noisy the 48MP photos retain significantly more detail than visible in the 12MP shots, but after having to wait for my drone to run out of juice on a bank of a river, hoping to catch it during its automatic landing, I’m not willing to risk it again.
Overall, despite the abovementioned issue, this is absolutely an amazing and extremally capable drone.

Sabemos que os drones são bem caros, esse Mini3 pro muito compacto e excelente equipamento, não marquei a duração de voos, mas gostei da qualidade das imagens, não se preocupem com Anatel, muito fácil da fazer, depois que chega seu equipamento só entrar no site da annac e castrar drone, depois só ir no site da Anatel aba de homologação e fazer segunda cadastro e registro, mas pra isso, precisa do certificado annac, não se preocupe com garantia, pois se estiver voando e ele cair ninguém da garantia de queda, fica a dica

I had the Mini 4k & sold it and this mini 4 pro fly more combo arrived today 1 day early. This drone by DJI is absolutely awesome. Been trying the 360 obstacle avoidance and it goes over or around objects flawlessly. Also tried night mode and auto landing light is a very cool addition. Its more pricey but you get so much more for beginners and experts alike. The new controller with built in screen is leaps & bounds above attatching your cell to the end.Cant wait for this summers adventures to get new perspective of nature’s wonders.

This is my first drone, so I have no other experience to compare with. I almost went with another brand that was far less expensive but there was no gimbal and the features were limited (not to complain because with cost savings comes sacrifices of course).
I thought if I’m going to go through with purchasing a drone, I may as well go with one that won’t leave me regretting I didn’t go for something better down the line. After some research, I came across the DJI mini 4 pro. The only thing that made me turn away from it time and time again was the cost, but all the reviews of it showed it was worth its price tag. Especially if its someones first drone.
The initial set up was a bit tedious but that is because I am one of those types who has a hard time with tech stuff. But even I was able to get through it and was then up and flying in no time. Of course, being that this is my first drone and I invested a lot of money, I am going slow and being careful with my time in the air.
I am extremely confident that this drone will be all I need for years to come. It has great picture and video quality. The tracking feature is what drove me to get this one over the less expensive but capable mini 3. The mini 4 pro is surprisingly quiet too. I was expecting to hear that annoying buzzing sound when it was in the air, but the only time the drone is producing a lot of sound is when the altitude changes or moves around objects. Even then, it doesn’t cause much noise – unlike the ones I’ve seen novice drone pilots in the past use.
I look forward to all the things I will get to capture with my drone.

Not impressed on the 11th flight, which were all short took it up to 150 feet went 30 feet to the west took a picture of the garden, came back soon the battery had 35% left pushed returned to home it took off straight up to maximum height, 300 and some feet, controller told me that the battery has been depleted. I had pushed a return to Home. It came down to 200 feet and stayed there until the controller told me that the battery is done and we’re gonna crash. I had no control over it at all. Check the battery after it crashed. It still had two bars left Put it on the charger and it took a full charge. Luckily I had insurance which cost me $65 US to send it to Ontario as we are in Canada. I think it’s a bit of a hoax. Hopefully they will return to me with a new drone that is better than this one, but it actually worked great when they did fantastic pictures, good control, but after 10 flights it takes off by itself and crashes.

Este drone esta genial. Es increible. Me gusta muchísimo en autonomía, seguridad, modos de vuelo, seguimientos. Solamente lo he devuelto por la fata de nitidez en algunos planos que necesitaba cerrar la apertura y trabajando todo el rato a 1.7 es un problema. Es cierto que es luminoso para planos de noche, pero practicamente todos los planos que grabo son durante el dia y normalmente paisajes o planos generales o medios, por lo que una apertura tan elevada, en ciertas montañas, paisajes de arboles o cosas similares, me da una especie de desenfoque que no he conseguido evitar. Con otros drones de 2.8 se ve mucho mejor. Es cierto que si quieres desenfoques en algun momento puntual es interesante, pero un f 2.2 por ejemplo o 2.8 y una iso mas eficiente creo que sería lo mas apropiado para un drone. Lo perfecto sería poder combinar ambas y tener una f variable. El segundo motivo por el que lo he devuelto es por el mando Rc2. No carga mapas completos de ciudades o zonas grandes. Esto hace que tengas que estar vinculánculando en el móvil para tener conexión a internet ya que cargar los mapas antes y por trozos pequeñisimos es una auténtica locura. Es cierto qeu el Rc2 tiene un par de botones adicionales pero a veces se me presionaban sin querer. Que tenga la pantalla incorporada también es interesante, pero le reduce muchísimo el tiempo de batería. Asi que me quedo con el mando Rc N2 que ocupa menos y una vez conectado tienes todas las funciones de conectividad del móvil, un alcance increible y mucha más autonomía. Además ocupa mucho menos en la mochila. Conclusión: exceptuando estos dos detalles, es un drone espectácular como todo lo que hace dji. Increible!
