2 weeks in they remain on my phones and laptop and don’t look too out of place (on my Lenovo ThinkPad it looks like it’s a feature from the factory.
The cover slides very nicely, it’s tacitilly satisfying.

I used this on my iPhone 13 Pro. The first one I messed up putting on and had to discard it however the second one went on with no hassles and stuck firmly. You have to make sure to align it perfectly with the pin hole camera lense on your device. Open the slider and then open your camera and then you can easily see if you’re aligned. The open and close slider works as advertised, does the job. I’m going to order another for an iPad I just bought.

Approximately 2 weeks of daily use and so far, so good. Tried different ones in the past and they either didn’t allow the lid to close properly or wouldn’t stick properly. This camera cover is slim enough to allow the laptop lid to properly close and the “swing” type of open/close cover works very well to cover/uncover the camera.

It is an ok solution for the price. The cover will slide open if you tilt your laptop (e.g. when carrying it around). Some laptop models may not fully close the lid. I’d prefer some solution similar to the HP Elitebook series which are embedded in the screen frame and made of aluminum, but for the price it seems an ok trade off.

On our laptops, with a textured plastic bezel, they seem to stick quite well. On a tablet with a “glass” surface it can and does shift (hence the dropped star rating). Worth the small cost. The metal construction should provide lasting protection. Overall, we’re satisfied and they’ll do what we bought them for.
