Utilitarian Not going to win any prizes for esthetics but it does what it says it will do! The grate design would keep a computer such as a laptop or a MacMini cooler with its heat sink like ability as well as its holes for air circulation.
The stand is adjustable and I have found that it elevates my 27” iMac to the correct high for me.

First had my 27″ Alienware monitor on it with legs at maximum height, not sure of the monitor weight but there was bowing.
Currently have Playstation on it with legs minimum and it’s great for that.

Let me tell you how wonderful this is for CATS!!! I was told that my cats shoulders and posture could be negatively impacted if I kept her food dish on the floor, and that she needed a platform. I looked everywhere for one that could go under my automatic feeder, and stumbled across this.
Wow! It was a PERFECT FIT! I love that it’s adjustable in height too! My cat took to the new height right away and I can rest a bit easily knowing I’m not having her crouch down to eat.
I highly recommend this to anyone who has a dog or cat.

Surprisingly good quality metal considering it is currently the cheapest option available ($20). No spurs or dents or marks. Easy to screw the legs in and easy to adjust the height. Stable and doesn’t slip or wobble. Can’t adjust it while the monitor is on it for obvious reasons but that is always going to be the case with this kind of design. Given the price, very satisfied and hope this will help with back pain working at home.

I’m not sure how these would be if I wanted to put a large gaming tower or a heavy printer on one–but for my three 27″ monitors, these are more than up to the task. I looked for stands that were not as wide as my monitors, and because the stands are not as wide, I was able to free up some taller space to put things between the stands and without blocking my now raised monitors. The legs are plastic, but I don’t move my monitors much so I doubt they’ll get any lateral stress and, being cylinders, they’re *very* strong straight up. I’m using them at the default height, and that may affect strength, too, if very heavy things that get bumped a lot are placed too high on them. But for my purposes, these risers deserve and get the full 5 points.
