Just wanted to keep an eye on the food situation when I’m out of town, so grabbed this at a good price. The only thing it lacks is zooming in on what you’re watching, like with iPhone video. I love using the remote control of the camera, which is about a full 360-degree rotation capability, plus you have up and down. Pretty responsive remote capability, only a small delay usually. Night-mode with infrared a big plus, and of course that’s black and white. In daytime, it’s all good color. Resolution may not be super High def (I don’t really know), but it’s a high resolution video image and pretty good quality.

This is my second security camera, and I just love the ease of reviewing the stored recording off my Micro SD card. On my first camera I had to watch the entire recording in 15-minute clips!! With this camera it gives you vertical yellow lines anytime activity is detected. So I can just sweep right to left over this recording bar they have until I see a yellow bar!! I then just watch from the yellow bar to see what happened. So, if I recorded say, from 10pm until 10am I can review everything a 1000 times faster than having to watch every single second of the recording!!
The second feature that is pretty cool is it gives you 3 options to talk through the camera via your cell phone!! 1) Your normal voice, 2) It modifies your voice to sound like a clown and 3) it modifies your voice to sound like a grandpa!!
Now, everything wasn’t perfect at first with the recording or even viewing! If I stood in the camera I was recorded in slow motion, for every second it was a 2-3 second delay! Same with recording and you have to find the tab while the camera is operating to change it to the “4x” option to speed it up. And then, even there, it seemed to not be fast enough. So, I contacted via email the company, and they asked for my cameras serial number, and I emailed it to them and they said I needed to update the cameras version! After the update everything has been perfect the last couple days! One note, if you use a Micro SD I would recommend the 256 MB one, because of more storage, and make sure you format it right off the bat. I didn’t format mine, so I had to take it out and then put it back in and I was prompted to format it. I’m not an expert, but doing everything I said it’s working perfect now!!
Third, it only takes laterally seconds to view the camera on your laptop/computer. Just just download the Arenti app and type in your email or profile and then your password and you’re all set to view on the computer!! Only thing is it has a timeout (about 15-20 minutes, but it is pretty long), so you just have to re click on the cameras tab it starts right off again. My old camera did allow me to control the camera and view stored video, but this wasn’t doesn’t let me do. Just my cell phone where I used the QR codes to get it up and running. I think if I did all that stuff on my laptop I would have all access.

The sound quality is terrible! The alarm goes off constantly even when my child is asleep. (Fan on) The picture quality is not terrible but not great either, especially when you zoom in. I do like that I can control it from my phone. I like that it has night vision, the time & the temperature on the monitor

Lo compré a finales de noviembre y al día de hoy el rastreo de movimiento ya no funciona, es decir, la camara dejó de girar, se quedó atorada y solo enfoca un solo lugar. Al principio si giraba y enfocaba muy padre toda la casa, pero desde hace unos dias se quedó estática, hace un ruidito como si quisiera girar, pero no gira. Me duró muy poquito el gusto.

My English Mastiff tore both of her CCLs and it left her mobility super limited. Leading up to surgery I was anxious leaving her for any extended period of time because she was so uncomfortable. And now that she is freshly post op (surgery 2/20, picked her up 2/21)
I’m even more anxious. For real, I was worried about her licking her surgical spot while I was in the shower. I want to avoid putting her in the cone of shame; she is already miserable and I don’t want to add to it.
This was an impulse purchase based on my anxiety and concern for her wellbeing. The last cameras I got (for exterior, and a different brand) were such a let down that I was nervous about buying another camera, so when I saw this one for under $30 it felt worth a try for my sanity.
Let. Me. Tell. You. I am SO impressed with the quality. It lets you move your view around via your phone from far away. The picture is clear and it does a great job with natural light and night time. The walkie-talkie works, though there is deffo a delay and I *think* the sound quality from the camera is funky. It left my girl howling when I tried to talk to her. (See first photo, her head cock was at the camera sound.).
I’m not super impressed with the app. I haven’t figured out how to get to the motion alerts without receiving one and following the notification. The motion detector seems pretty sensitive too. We were snuggling and I rolled over a little and BAM, I got an alert.
That being said, I mostly care about the live and being able to creeper on her. I don’t need to go watch a whole day back.
It was really easy to install. I haven’t paid any mind to storage or security. Given when I am using the camera for I don’t have concerns about those thing.
I do wish it had a turn off button. I have been unplugging the camera when I’m home with her because I don’t need to get alerts about myself. It also kinda sucks that it has to be plugged into power to be live vs. recharging or allowing it to run on its own if needed. For my use, I don’t really care though.
It is also possible that if I actually read the entries booklet that I’d have some answers for some of the things I don’t care for.
Just buy the camera!

LOOOVE this camera! Super easy to set up and also easy to charge. I wish the camera had a bit more range (downwards) without needing to mount it somewhere, but we just put it high up in our baby’s room. I love how you don’t need wifi to have it set up and we can watch over our little one while in a different room.

It works, but not for my use. I bought it because it says “pet cam”. Well, that means for large pets. It will not pick up my 8-pound dog or my 12-pound cat. I put the camera down close to the floor, and it still won’t detect my pets. That is what I specifically bought the camera for, and it failed. If you have a larger pet, it will probably work fine for you.
