This purchase was waited for as I thought it is an extra and not something necessary for iPad. I used it with my older model, but was incompatible. The Apple Pencil Pro did not work out of the box. There was no fix or fancy turnaround. It is going back. I may buy a differentbrand all together. I have been a fan of Apple products for nearly a decade. It is unusual and therefore unacceptable that this was the case with this item.

I will start by say that the Apple pencil is a tool I use everyday in the course of my work. It works nearly flawlessly ( it’s technology, so it’s never perfect ). My only issue the Apple Pencil is that I had to buy yet another one when I upgraded my tablet. I like much of what Apple does for the seamless connectivity between their products, but sometimes the costs outweigh the gains.

The apple pencil arrived brand new as expected, well packed, gently placed on my porch, at the best price on the internet. Shopping at Walmart’s website is a great experience. The best out there.

The pencil works fine. The only issue I have is that I have a Synology NAS, and when I try to go through different files in the file system, the pencil works ok selecting the first few files and then suddenly is unable to select files. I have to exit out and bring the file system back up again, but the same thing happens. Other than that, the pencil is good.

I did same day delivery online and the pencil I received was obviously a return. The Apple packaging was already open and missing the inserts. Fortunately, the pencil appears to be in good condition and works as expected. Pencil is not marked as open box on the website, so although it works it’s extremely frustrating to receive a used product when I paid the price for a new one.

When I paired the pen with my device it stated that someone else already had the find my device activated with my new pen which I have not been informed at all that someone owned it before me and now I cannot add it in find my device until they take it off of their find my device. I am mostly annoyed at that but other than that it works fine.

if only Apple made things that could survive more than one generation, now there are at least four different Apple Pencil models that I can think of when you include the new USB-C version that can work with the M4 iPad Pro! I was extremely disappointed when I bought my couple thousand dollar 13 inch, 2 TB M4 iPad Pro and my previous Apple Pencil for the sixth generation 12.9 inch wouldn’t work. It wouldn’t even stick to the magnet attachment, Apple obviously purposely outdated the product in order to come up with a so-called pro pencil and, while the taptic feedback is nice, it is not justifiable that they couldn’t have made it compatible with the previous generation.
Obviously, I understand that the first Apple Pencil is obsolete but for a sixth generation iPad Pro, 12.9 inch, 2 TB, again a $2,000 device, now I have to include another pencil in my collection which now has three for my iPad Pro 12.9 inch 2nd Generation , my iPad Pro 12.9 inch 6th Generation and my 13 inch M4 iPad Pro.
It’s crazy how Apple designs timed obsolescence into their products, particularly accessories, and how you get ripped off with crap like this although I have to say, for completeness and full honesty, the new pencil does work wonderfully and has improved very much from the beginning, but there is very little I can tell different between this one and the previous generation other than the tactic feedback as I mentioned. Perhaps the battery life is a little better and the newer Bluetooth version permits much better hovering ability, as well … but I still feel ripped off.

I really like the new Apple Pencil Pro. I use it with my iPad Air 13 all the time. I started using my old iPad as for note taking last year and upgraded the iPad and got the Pencil pro. Being able to just attach to my tablet and charge is great. I use pencil tip covers from amazon with the pencil to avoid the tapping noise. I do miss my pencil grip from my old Apple Pencil but the ability to do wireless charging makes up for it.

Outstanding product, advanced options and tools, quick and easy syncing. Its capability is exceptional and I am still learning all that it can do. With all its features, the pencil pro is still quite pricy and limited to the most advanced M4 devices.
