I have two cats and two toddler boys. So I’m constantly cleaning up behind them all day, and sometimes the smells they leave behind aren’t so pleasant. This product helps me tremendously. I sprinkle it on the carpet. Let it sit for a while then vacuum it up and everything smells fresh again.

Love this stuff from AH. No sketchy ingredients, been safely using this for years. It’s basically scented baking soda and it absolutely helps clean carpets better than vacuuming alone. My recommendation is to leave it sit for 10-15 minutes before you clean. The baking soda will also soak up any moisture in the carpet and allow you to vacuum it up without damage to your vac. Dump it out and you’re good to go!

this product works great and the scent is very clean. I always sprinkle my carpets no less than 15 minutes before I vacuum and I have left it on my carpet for over an hour on humid days. my pets have never been affected in any negative way, actually I have one that loves to roll all over it for some reason. she has never gotten sick afterwards, ever.

I really like this brand and scent. I have a dog and sometimes smells get trapped in the carpet. I sprinkle some on the carpets during the early morning and vacuum when I come home in the afternoon and it pulls up all the smells. Leaving the carpet smelling refreshed for days.

On moving day, as soon as I opened the door of my new apartment – BAM! I was hit with a horrible odor! The fridge and freezer had not been cleaned and the juices (blood) from packaged meats was all over the fridge (there was no meat, just the ‘juices) and the odor was horrific! Immediately, I cleaned the fridge, but the odor lingered throughout the place, so I sprinkled the Arm Hammer powder all over the house on all the floors. Only one room was carpeted, but I covered EVERY floor of the place with the powder and left it there for twenty-four hours, then cleaned it up. It eliminated the smell in the house, but the fridge needed bleach and pure bacon soda.

This is the best carpet odor eliminating powder on the market, in my humble opinion! It smells wonderfully fresh and clean. It eliminates (maybe masks) the carpet smells that come from having kids and animals, but the fragrance is not overwhelming. I use it when I vacuum but also when company is expected, I sprinkle a little behind furniture and even in the trash cans, for an instant clean-smelling house!

If I am correct, my family and myself have used these products since their inception. I can recall my first living quarters. I was a young man and saw Arm Hammer seasoned carpet freshener. That was many decades ago. Well. I continue to use these products in 2025

i usually dont use arm and hammer products. I had yo take care of my daughter for a month and this is the product she used. to my amazement , the product smelled great and lasted longer than i had anticipated. i was impressed. when i saw the value it offered i couldnt pass it up and it cheaper than the product i WAS using. smells great and a better value
