Available as either Gasoline or Gasoline/Propane powered (XP13000EH), this 13,000 Watt Generator offers the most versatility, power, and savings all in one package! This workhorse portable generator is powered by a 500cc DuroMax OHV Engine that feeds the fully loaded power panel which allows the user to pull up to the maximum 13,000 watts of power. Also on the power panel are individual breakers to prevent overloading and keep everything safe. The noise reducing muffler also utilizes a spark arrestor making it EPA and CARB approved. DuroMax Generators are perfect for any application where portable power is needed. Followed instructions put everything together just fine. Pressed start button and unit started on first try. Manual should mention choke seems it is automatic. But cant confirm. .After initial start and shutdown. unit has not needed to power house due to not having a power failure yet.

It was missing the funnel. Otherwise it was extremely easy to assemble and started upon first try after following the assembly instructions.

Everything on this generator works, and it runs my welder no problem… After some modification that is. It claims to have a 50 amp breaker for the 240v, but it does not. The breaker that comes in it is rated at 35 running amps, pops at 43. It is printed right on the side of the breaker. I was at a job site for the first time and it kept popping even with the welder set very low. I have an electrician friend who pulled the panel out and found the problem for me. I emailed them and was informed that they could not send the correct amperage breaker. It may not be kosher but my solution was to bypass the breaker until I can wire in a generic one. If not for this I would definitely give it 5 stars. The only other annoying thing is the push button start doesn’t work well when it’s cold, it chugs at low rpm and continuously engages the starter even after starting. It fires right up with the pull start though.

I set it up and everything seem good on it. Fed my house for a half hour and everything seemed to work great so far.

I checked many reviews before I bought this product and there were a few “Horror Stories” so I became a little skeptical, but I decided I would take the leap and judge it for myself. I operate a small business and needed the power to run the necessary equipment. Well,..I must say that I could not have been more pleased. I did not need the wheels attached so, I put the oil and gas in the unit, pressed the ignition switch ans “WALLAH” it started right up. You have to let it run for a few moments but after it settled down…the thing purred like a kitten. I am extremely happy with the unit, especially since I placed all of the loads on it that was needed to run the operation and it “DID NOT SKIP A BEAT”. DuroMax, you certainly have a satisfied customer!!
